This little girl holding a lantern was an internal illustration I recently did for an upcoming children’s rhyming book by Arian Gardner.
The author wanted a water colour style, so I painted this in Rebelle Pro 8. It’s not my typical medium, so it took a bit of playing around to find the right wetness settings and tilt angle for what I was trying to achieve. I have to say digital watercolours are a lot less stressful than real watercolours because you can just hit undo if things go pear-shaped!
