Illustration Details:
Raff is an incognito prince character painted for Elise Chidley’s fantasy world of Emberlyn (from the YA romantasy The Raven, the Wolf, and the Rose). When he is in the earth realm, he wears jeans, and a roughed up dress shirt with no shoes, and tattoos on both his hands and feet. I sketched this in Paintstorm Studio and then did the painting in Rebelle Pro 8, taking advantage of the water physics for the watercolour background, and then the ordinary paint for the foreground. All custom made brushes.
