Art Description
This was a painting I did as an entry for the VX Art Tournament in 2021 hosted by Comic Con and Vortex Comics. This year’s theme was ‘Resilience’, with the tag line “The Strength to create is worth defending”.
My concept depicts an artist afflicted by anxiety, and poverty, but not allowing that to crush her, as she pushes through resiliently. I called it “Afflicted But Not Defeated”
