Why split illustration portfolios?
I’d rather not keep my old work mixed in with new because people tend to judge you on your worst work. I still don’t want anyone taking credit for my art though, so this serves as a record of old illustrations that no longer reflect my skill level. You may find the odd newer piece thrown in here too. Typically that is because it was a speed sketch, so not indicative of the quality I could provide given a reasonable time frame.
