Illustration Details:
I always paint one mermaid in #Mermay. The last few years though, they’ve gotten increasingly weird, so I thought I’d do a traditional looking one for this year. I also took the opportunity to create some custom scale and fin brushes which I’ll release as a pack in time for next year’s Mermay.
The pose pack I used was from Grafit Studio and featured women on top of glass, which I thought lent itself nicely for a mermaid in an aquarium.
