Illustration Details:
The fantasy Christmas book commission I just completed inspired me to paint a full scene of a snow golem. I also used this to test out a new brushpack I developed recently. After it was finished my friend Juan turned it into an MtG (Magic the Gathering) card. He also came up with the name “YsBallas” which made me laugh – that’s Afrikaans for “ice balls”, but “ballas” typically refers to..uh, let’s just say “a specific kind of balls”. 🙂
