2025 Black Friday / Cyber Monday Deals for Artists
CubeBrush Black Friday Sale
Cubebrush, a marketplace for brushes, tutorials, textures, 3d assets and other creative products is once again having their site-wide Black Friday sale. Wacom Black Friday Deal
With how expensive Wacom products are, their ‘up to 50% off’ Black Friday specials are probably thrilling for those who have their hearts set on them. Having owned one, I can attest to the quality, but honestly my Huion is comparable at a fraction of the cost.

Adobe is an evil company that unethically trained their AI on a combination of Midjourney and the work of their stock contributors, without giving them a way to opt out. The software is eye wateringly expensive and also now full of ai shit no one asked for. Still, if you have to buy a subscription, at least get it on special:
Paintstorm Studio Black Friday Deal
Paintstorm Studio is probably my most used painting app of all time, and the easiest to transition to for Photoshop Painters. I bought it on a Black Friday sale some years ago and have zero regrets. It runs really well on low end machines too (much better than Clip Studio Paint and Corel Painter). I still use it daily and find it an absolute joy.
It retails for $50 (once off perpetual license) and it is currently 50% off. Even at full price, it’s criminally cheap for how good it is.
Realistic Paint Studio Black Friday Deal
Realistic Paint Studio is by the same people who make Paintstorm Studio, and it is their version of a traditional paint simulator. I’ve tried it and although it’s not as good as Rebelle, for $25 it’s a really fun toy.

Huion Black Friday Tablets Deal

Clip Studio Paint 4 November Sale
Clip Studio Paint is a popular alternative to Photoshop. It’s particularly popular with comic book artists who opt for the “Ex” version, with extra tools for comic book creators. The standard version is fine for most digital artists. You can currently buy a perpetual version for 60% off.

Corel has a 30% off deal on CorelDraw until 23 November. There’s a bunch of different versions, but I recommend getting the perpetual license for CorelDraw Graphics Suite 2025, rather than the ‘standard version which is a bit gimped on features.

Huion Tablets Black Friday Deal
Huion’s Black Friday sale starts 11 November and ends 2 December. Their marketing material announces up to 50% off, and they’re also having a draw where they are giving away a Huion Kamvas 13 (gen 3). To enter said draw, you must retweet their BlackFriday tweet.

Proko Art Courses Black Friday Deal

Adobe are a shit company that unethically scraped Adobe stock, without giving contributors a way to opt out, and they also used Midjourney in their Firefly training…BUT…some designers apparently have to use some Adobe products for their work, so thought I’d include this special where their advert says they’re offering “65% off + an extra 25% off”, whatever that means. At the link it says 48% off.

Affinity Studio Black Friday Deal
Affinity Studio is a favourite alternative to Adobe. I haven’t personally tried publisher, but I’ve owned Affinity Photo & Affinity Design for years now and can confirm they are good replacements for Photoshop and Illustrator. Best of all is you can buy them instead of being forced to rent.

PenTips Black Friday Deal
PenTips sell smooth and fuzzy replacement nibs for your Apple Pencil, as well as a PenPad which is like a special keyboard made for Procreate. They are having a 20% Black Friday sale right now.
Humble Bundle Creative Deals
Though not specifically for black Friday, Humble Bundle has two creative bundles at the moment that may appeal to you.
Maps Extravaganza is a map making software bundle ($30 for 11 items).
Comics, Manga & Animation is a drawing book bunndle ($18 for 24 items).
Black Friday 2024 Early Deals & Specials:
- The Rebelle SuperSALE (90% off) is currently on, but ending on 4 November, so not sure if we’ll see a Black Friday deal for them in 2024.
- Corel Painter 2023 & CorelDraw 2024 Standard are both available for 30usd on HumbleBundle right now, but that special ends on the 14th of November, so again, we may not get a 2024 Black Friday deal from them either. It’s worth noting that the Humble Bundle deal also comes with some brushes (great), and also some unwanted AI nonsense (disappointing), but you don’t need to claim the keys for the things you don’t want.
- Clip Studio Paint is having a sale now where it is 60% off the normal Pro version, and 40% off the Ex Version. The sale ends on the 26th which is before Black Friday, so unsure if they will have another one for Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

No point in sugar-coating it… Illustration is a hard enough career to survive in, without the shitstorm of the last few years that’s left us with a gutted economy hanging on for dear life. We’re survivors though right? So, to keep our heads above water, we need to be frugal and shop at the right time, and as an illustrator, there’s no better time for prying open the wallet than on Black Friday. I wait all year to get all my art gear at heavily discounted prices, and this year is beautiful. Allow me to present you with the greatest Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals for artists.
Rebelle Pro 7 Black Friday Deal
Rebelle Pro is Corel Painter’s biggest rival for the market of traditional painters who are transitioning over to digital, and they keep adding even more features.
You can currently preorder Rebelle Pro 7 for 80% off. Now that’s a proper Black Friday deal! It’s worth noting that it’s definitely better to go for the Pro version, rather than the standard version so you can get real pigment mixing technology.
Clipstudio Paint 2 Black Friday Deal
Clipstudio Paint is fast becoming the industry standard software for illustrators and unlike Adobe Photoshop, Clipstudio Paint still offers a perpetual license, so you aren’t forced to rent it for the rest of your life.
The current deal is up to 60% off. The standard version is fine for most illustrators, but comic book artists will want to go for the “Ex” version which has tools suited to that workflow.
Huion Drawing Tablet Black Friday Deal
The Huion Inspiroy 1060p is the exact drawing tablet that I currently use for my illustration work. Infinitely cheaper than a Wacom graphics tablet, and just as good.
Amazon has a Black Friday Deal of 36% off. Several years ago, I bought mine off of Amazon for Black Friday too, so it excites me that I can share this deal with anyone in the market because I know it’s a great product and has served me well.
Corel Painter 2023 Black Friday Deal
Corel Painter is a robust painting and drawing application with a powerful brush engine. I’ve used it extensively and have also produced quite a few tutorials for it.
There’s a HumbleBundle deal on right now where you can get Corel Painter 23 for $30 which ends after Cyber Monday. If you miss it, then there’s another deal to get Corel Painter for 50% off including “Creative Brush Master Kit” for free. Team Bradley Reference Pics Black Friday Deal
Team Bradley specializes in high quality pose reference. I’ve used a few myself and can confirm they’re great – very well lit.

CorelDraw is a great vector art program. most print shops use it. Back when I was in college, we were taught Macromedia Freehand, but in my first graphic design job, I had to learn CorelDraw, which I thought was much better, and I’ve always preferred it over Adobe Illustrator.
You can grab the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2023 for 45% discount. For some reason it says 20%, but if you click through, it says 45%. Be careful not to choose the ‘annual plan’ because then you have to rent it for the rest of your life instead of owning it.
Paperlike Black Friday Deal
Paperlike is a popular screen protector that some artists like to use over their ipads and graphics display tablets to make the screens feel more papery (less slippery) when drawing on them. Many illustrators love them, though I also need to caution that I’ve been told they wear down your nibs quicker.

Coolorus Black Friday Deal
Unlike dedicated Paint Apps, Photoshop wasn’t made for artists, but many artists still use it. One of the most obvious things missing for artists in the default Photoshop is a decent colour wheel. Coolorus plugin has been the answer to that problem for many years now.
It’s currently 50% off.
Pose Doll Black Friday Deal
Posing and anatomy are obviously important skills for most artists. Those old wooden pose mannequins are pretty useless by today’s standards when you get these action figure dolls with more realistic anatomy.
